Adnan Karim
I am a Master's Student at the Programmable Reality Lab and the iLab at the University of Calgary under the supervision of Dr Ryo Suzuki, where I am working on Augmented Reality (AR) research with Robotics and Sketching.
My research interest lies on the intersection at Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Sketching, and Robotics. My inspiration for HCI and Robotics came from my time at UBC and USC. More recently, my interest in HCI and Sketching came from my newly discovered passion of teaching. For as long as we can remember, lecturing as always been static. Whether that be through physical entities (paper), or through techonology (powerpoint). Ever since I started my position as a TA, I've been inspired to provide a new way to present information and even extend this to video editing, remote collaborations, and general presentations. I hope to do this through AR and sketching. ✏
